DEIMOS
K this is just the beginning to what your eyes will see take a closer loo
Name: Deimos

Region: South (born in the East)
Breed: Gypsy Vanner x Percheron x Shire x Clydesdale x Hanoverian
Height: 18.3hh
Eyes: Pale Silvery Gray

Scars: Basically is a patchwork of hoof, bite, and burn scars. The burn scars are worst on the left side of his face; his left ear has been burned away and the flesh is black and cracked, oozing and bleeding when he tries to talk or eat. A half-inch or so of bone is exposed along the left side of his jaw where the flesh was seared away. The rest of the burns have healed to shiny, hairless pink flesh that are peppered all over his body. The hoof and bite scars are souvenirs from his childhood bullying and are scattered all over his neck and back.

Markings: Badger face, Looks as if he's been dipped in white up to his chest and thighs. His markings are more or less invisible due to to his near-white base coat and may become slightly more visible with his winter coat.

C atch a peek at what your heart should hear. the silence its never ending. oh what do you fear?
Mental: 100%; Physical: 100%
Personality: Named for the personification of sheer terror, Deimos certainly cuts an intimidating figure. He learned early on that his size, odd coloring, and burns scared other horses and, instead of letting it hurt his self-esteem, he decided to use them to his advantage. The stallion, while not terribly ambitious, does like to have the upper hand on and off the battlefield. He has no qualms about threatening or physically abusing others to get what he wants.
In spite of his somewhat spoiled, demanding attitude, he (surprisingly) does not share his region's typical attitude toward mares. Deimos does not sees physical or verbal abuse toward them as necessary. While not cuddly or affectionate, he prefers to encourage a mare's compliance with affection and compliments rather than a hoof to the face or insults. Again, flying in the face of southern stereotypes, he prefers his daughters to his sons, keeping the fillies until they are grown while sending the colts to be fostered among other herds.
While not particularly opposed to friendship, Deimos has no friends aside from his daughters. This is because he is hard-pressed to find other stallions or mares that seem him as more than a gigantic, horribly disfigured freak, capable of squashing their heads beneath his massive hooves. They are comfortable with how he looks and acts because they were raised around him and know a gentler side of him.
Because of his upbringing and his relationship with his own children, Deimos places a high value on family bonds. He will do everything in his power to keep one of his mares from being separated from their children, refusing to trade either until they are ready to be parted. He also tries to stay involved his foals' lives even after they have left his herd.

! you only thought you'd heard my story well baby there's more to hear
Creation Year: 2014
History: Deimos was born to an escaped slave, Ava, living alone in the area around Homeless Landing. He never knew his sire, as his mother never told him, but he always assumed him to be some southerner. When he was a few weeks old, Ava journeyed eastward with her son. There the mother and son joined a small, roaving band of easterners. At first they had been hesitant to allow Ava in, spooked by Deimos' seemingly colorless body and already unusual size. When she refused to join unless allowed to keep him, they relented.
The other foals seemed to absorb their parents' suspicion like dry soil does water, using it to amplify their own fears of the ghost-like colt. There were more than a few fights over it. While Deimos did lose several of them, he won most of them. That he could fight so well and be so creepy-looking seemed to enrage them. Ava and the other adults saw his wounds after these fights and attempted to settle the issues between their foals but were never truly successful.
One night, when Deimos and the rest of his peers were nearing three years of age, there was a massive thunderstorm after a long, hot summer drought. When they first heard the lightning, the herd was thrilled, thinking that things would finally start cooling off a little. The panic started when a lightning bolt struck a tree that several mothers and their foals were sleeping under. A few of them were electrocuted and stunned, while a young colt was killed outright. The lightning started a fire that spread rapidly, thanks to the dry vegetation.
Any semblance of solidarity vanished. Horses scrambled every which way, foals struggling to keep up with their dams, many of them abandoned in their mother's attempts to escape the inferno. Deimos' peers chose that moment to take 'revenge' for their humiliation. In the confusion several of them banded together and trapped Deimos in the flames, assuming that he would burn to death. They did not count on Deimos, blind with pain and fear, charging them. They scrambled. After several minutes it began to rain, putting him out.
He spent several months searching for his mother in the surrounding area. During this time he met a southern stallion, Maran, who took him in and doctored him. Maran allowed him to use his territory as a base of operations while he searched for Ava but convinced him to give it up after a month or so. Deimos proved himself a valuable asset to the herd and, as a result, was allowed to breed with a few of the mares. These couplings produced his oldest daughters. He lived with Maran for three years, siring and raising several foals. When his friend passed away, Deimos took his daughter and left to establish a herd of his own somewhere else.
