C atch a peek at what your heart should hear. the silence its never ending. oh what do you fear?
Mental: 100%; Physical: 100%
Personality: Though not of royal descent, Azura exudes the same air of dignity, authority, and nobility that any king or queen might. You get the impression that there is power behind her name, her words, her movements; this is not a mare who would take any slight, no matter how small, lightly. She always presents a flawless facade. Her body never shows anger or jealousy or grief; her body language is a constant show of smooth, fluid calm. Azura's emotional frigidity is a sort of shield. This is not because of any previous emotional wounds; it is simply how she was raised.
Azura is a western mare, though she lacks the cruelty to stallions that many mares of her region display. She believes that bullying lesser creatures is beneath higher beings and, while she may not let this be known with words, she has no qualms about acting disdainful and passive aggressive toward the perpetrator. Risking the consequences of open confrontation seems stupid to her unless she is absolutely positive that it will go her way. She desires power but is not so hungry for it that she will risk what she already has.

! you only thought you'd heard my story well baby there's more to hear
Creation Year: 2014
History: Among westerners, Azura had what one might call a privileged upbringing. Her family's most recent ties to the south or east were dozens of generations back; her bloodline had lived free in the west for at least one hundred years. The only slaves in her line were the sires. She was born to the second mare of a small but well-established herd, her father a cowardly but handsome slave. There was no abuse in her past, no emotional scarring; she was a prized heiress, a filly to be groomed for her mother's position.
Azura did not leave her home because she was forced. She saw early on what kind of mare her leader was. The eyes and ears of a foal, innocent though they are, can still hear the sobs and screams of a stallion as he is beaten, can see his wounds, his bruises, the bones straining against his skin. She had been taught to see them as beings on a lower level, like a cat or deer or dog. Yes, they were stupid. Yes, they were weak. Those things meant that they should be kept firmly under hoof, not beaten and starved. When she came of age, instead of taking her dam's position, she left, refusing to serve under a monster.
