Name:
Castaway
Gender:
Mare
Age (yr 3):
3 years
Region:
East
Physical Appearance:
Castaway holds the appearance of a mixed breed mare, appearing to have some form of Rocky Mountain Horse in her. Her body color is a dark brown or "chocolate" color with a pale flaxen mane and tail. She stands about 15'3 hh and has a very muscular frame. She has long legs, which make running and jumping quite easy for her. Though, due to her large size, endurance isn't much of a helpful factor. She could fight if she really needed to, but her nature just wouldn't allow it.
Personality:
Growing up under a very caring dam, Castaway grew to love everything that breathed. She is a big fan of the smaller life that runs the earth such as chipmunks, squirrels, and birds. She is curious of almost everything, but fearful of a lot as well. When she lost her mother, as a yearling, she set off on her own. This made her fearful of other horses and skittish of a lot of other things. The fact that other horses could use their mutual species as slaves scared her half to death. Though she her shell is broken, Castaway is a large sweetheart and lover. She would make anybody a good mate, and someday a good mother. She puts others before herself and tries her best to keep peace with the stallions and mares around her.
History: Castaway was born to a peace-loving dam who was a wanderer. She never got to know her father, but found it not much as a problem when she had all the nature around her. Her first year of life was wonderful. She was free and always kept out of harm by her mothers watchful eye. Though, at some point they must have wandered to close to the South and her mother was captured, turned into a slave by the leader of the land. Fleeing with her life, Castaway wandered for a while. When she was finally a two year old, wandering just didn't feel right anymore. She was young and missed the compassion she felt around other horses. She was always lonely and had nothing to fall back on. Eventually she found her way to the east and settled there to start a new life.
