It had taken her awhile to leave that dip in the mountain side. She had been numb to her physical being and her surroundings, but Katarina was almost sure she saw the glow of the sun come and go at least once if not twice. She hadn't paid much attention. However, her mind was the exact opposite. Her head was too busy to catch a moments rest. She had been mostly consumed with hysteria, to the point where her eyes would flood with tears, and then only moments later she would be unreasonably calm. The fae felt confusion, hate, resentment, fear. She would have occasional panic attacks, while constant anxiety consumed every fiber of her being. She was a wreck, and didn't know how to deal with herself.
Her stomach felt like it was engrossing itself, but she somehow felt comfort in it. Hunger was the only familiar aspect in her life, and she didn't want to let go of it. The fae had a headache that would come and go every so often from lack of nourishment, but other than that, she felt no other bodily pains.
It was a completely random decision to finally get up. Maybe if she left the overhang, she could escape reality for awhile. It may help ease the inner turmoil . She ventured out to the edge of the cliff that she stood on only a few days ago. The brown mare searched the mountain side for her assailant. It was important to her sanity that she try as hard as she could to avoid him. Seeing that the coast was clear, she decided to venture down onto one of the flatter plateaus. A thin layer of dirt was able to support scattered vegetation. There was also a small pond that had collected on its surface. For the most part, it was calm. She carried herself to the edge of the water source, and dipped her head down to take a sip of the cool liquid, but she let it fall out of her mouth as the bitter taste soaked into her tongue. The water was clean, most likely fresh rain water. It should have been the purest source in the territory. But the flavor was still off to her.
The fae sighed as she turned and went back to the grassy area of the plateau. She was able to find a section that had already been beaten down, so she decided to settle in it. She let her body drop to the soft patch of ground. A couple of the dark clouds cleared to make way for a beam of sunshine, that warmed her ragged pelt. She closed her eyes for a moment to enjoy the peace of her surroundings.

ooc;; Not at all! Katarina won't be territorial. She might be nervous Lucifer will come around, and attempt to steal Zilla.
But go for it c:

Baby since you been gone i leave the TV on got to hear somebody's voice Its pretty bad when your a mare who has to keep a close eye on her little one. Unsure of just what dangers might come into her direction. Her eyes gazing over to little Zeven as she trotted around her mother's pillars. Grinning lightly from ear to ear as she moved around the femme figure of her mother. Taking in a deep breath of air as she stopped and allowed her little one to nurse. Knowing that she must be tired from all the traveling that they had done. Though Zilla just wanted to keep her active. To keep her moving until there was no more of Hidden Oasis. It was just a place that she did not want to go to, but of course she went and traveled through Lucifer's terrain again. Eyes darting around until they fell onto another femme figure. Shifting her weight as she slowly moved over towards her with Zeven weaving from under her shifting from under her to out from under her. Smiling from ear to ear as she enjoyed the little ones attention and finally some freedom from the other dreaded equines.
A soft nicker coming from the mare's muzzle towards the equine before her. Halting a good three horse lengths from the resting mare. Wondering just what this mare might say with her figure coming and standing before her. Her eyes dancing over the mare's figure before she saw that this mare had been through some stuff. She seemed tired and drained of something, but of course Zilla did not know what that might be of. Since she had a little one that seemed to wear her down at times. "Hello, there." She said softly as she looked at the mare. Feeling that little Zeven had quickly came under her figure and gazed at the mare. Thought of course she stayed at a safe distance to not want her to get to freaked out and for Zeven to feel safe and sound. tagged | Har // Katarina :: music | none tmade by abby of i'm so curious |

She heard a strange voice greet her, but she honestly thought about ignoring it. Lucifer may have roped in a new slave to torment. Regardless, it wasn't her job to babysit ... or care for that matter. The side of her face rested on the cool dirt as she watched the blades of grass blow in front of her. But as the silence hung in the air, her skin began to crawl. Some part of her was curious to know who stood over her. She lifted her head to steal a glance.
It was another mare, with a foal of her own. Obviously the pair didn't belong to Lucifer, which made anxiety flood her already deteriorating system. She would have said something snarky in an effort to chase them away, but she didn't want to be cruel while the foal was standing there. "Hi ..." Her voice was weak to the point of where it cracked from lack of use. She rested her head back down on the ground. She was actually kinda getting tired holding it up.
"You and your foal aren't safe here. You should go." Katarina's warning was feeble. It didn't carry a lot of weight, but she didn't want this mare to wind up in this place. Only days ago, Katarina wasn't completely miserable in this territory. Funny how things can change so quickly.

Baby since you been gone i leave the TV on got to hear somebody's voice Zilla looked over the weak looking equine. Seeing that her body seemed over tired for her figure. Since most equines about her height are normally out there. Running around with their heads held high in the air. An not like a mare like Zilla was. Standing so tall that the ground shook under her daggers. Thorns taking in the sound of the her voice coming in her direction. Nodding her skull as she listened to the mare say that she should get out of this place and that made Zilla just sigh softly as she looked at her.
"Dear, I have been through so much with my little one. I don't think the stallion here compares to the stallion's land that I'm stuck in. I'm surprised he isn't hunting me down at this point."
Her words made her sight towards the end. Not really liking being within Viggen's herd lands, but of course it had to happen at some point. Flickering her thorns around as she looked at little Zeven who came slowly from under her mother's figure.
"He called me worfless."
She said in kind of a pitiful voice towards the mare that was in front of them. Shifting her weight as the little figure of the foal moved over to the mare slowly. Looking over her figure before she turned and trotted over to her mother and hide underneath her figure. Not liking being called that at all and only feeling happy with her mommy and daddy Levi. tagged | Har // Katarina :: music | none tmade by abby of i'm so curious |

She heard the other mare speaking, but again, she wasn't really grasping the words that came from her mouth. It had been common for her to have problems recognizing things. It was like her memories and lessons had become selective. She imagined this sensation felt similar to drowning. No matter how hard she fought and thrashed around, her senses were dulled by the metaphorical waves that surrounded her.
Not wanting to appear like she was stupid, she began nodding her head slightly. It was a universal sign for "I understand" ... even though she didn't. "He told me that he wasn't like the rest, and that he would protect me." Her words were still weak, but she forced herself to say them. She wanted to speak her thoughts out loud. It helped relieve some of the tension from within her head, though she didn't expect a reply from either. They probably thought that she had went mad. Maybe she was. "I told myself I wouldn't believe him. But I guess somewhere inside ... I did."
She picked her head up when she heard the light hoof steps of the filly approach. Katarina hoped that she didn't have a filly. She didn't want a daughter of her's to go through this. Though, she didn't want to supply him a son either. " ... You're not worthless" She was losing what little control over her voice she had left. It was weak. But what could she expect when her whole body was weak.247 WORDS
