Bell I speak; I think Notes: None
A dry wind followed Bell through the land. It hadn't rained in weeks and the lake was dangerously low. She was thirsty, but only drank a little. She didn't want to dry up the lake. She didn't know if Winter would bring relief or not. She finished drinking and wandered through the land. There weren't many horses here. Her brother and a few others, but she didn't talk to any of them. She was too shy to initiate conversation and they all seemed too busy to stop to talk to her. She spent her days roaming the land, occasionally talking to her friend Kai. She stopped walking and closed her eyes. She could feel the wind on her back and there was something else. She was being watched. She stayed where she was with her eyes closed waiting to see if they would approach her.

INUYASHA -- east stalliontags ;; Nat / Bell etc ;; Inuyasha cantered over the terrain with his thorns perked high upon his skull as he looked all around this place with a slight grin that was upon his face. Shifting his weight under his body as he had slowed his body down. Taking in a deep breath of air as he could smell the scent of another equine. So he decided that he would check it out and see who might be about the place. Flickering his banner side to side as he saw that his figure was getting closer to the equine.
His skull tilted slightly as he looked at the equine that stood before him. She seemed to just stand there. No movement nothing. It was like she was waiting for someone to come over and approach her with where she stood. So he shrugged the thought of turning around and walking away and decided to walk over towards the mare with thorns perked forwards.
"You know. A mare such as yourself should not be standing out in the opening like this."
He said in a voice that almost sounded annoyed with her standing where she was, but of course that was just who he was. He was one that did not like the south equines and knew that this mare would be taken down by the sight of them looking at her. She was pretty but of course Inuyasha never showed any emotion from her face. Turning his head and looked out into the opening of the terrain still and then looked over towards her.
"Do you not have a home to return to?"
He asked as he looked at the mare with thorns perked upon his skull as he gazed at her. Wondering what kind of response that she was going to give him. With him not really being big on the herd thing, but of course he thought that this mare would have one by now and he did not know yet anything about her. He was just acting like he always did towards others.

Bell I speak; I think Notes: None
The watcher decided to approach her. She kept her eyes closed as the hoof beats drew closer. She didn't know the scent. She hoped it wasn't a Southern. Her brother was no where near and she could not fight. Her brother was her protector. They used to be inseparable, but he finally found a place where he could belong. He was enjoying his new found freedom. She didn't mind though. He had a right to be happy. Their mother did not allow him anything but punishment. She was the one who got the taste of freedom. Granted she hadn't been allowed out of the land, but at least she could have roamed where ever she wanted. She heard the hoof beats stop close to her. It was definitely a male, but the scent still alluded her. She slowly opened her eyes. The stallion in front of her had an emotionless face and she feared the worst. Easterners were usually very happy and full of expression. He spoke first. They were words of annoyance. Luckily this is the East, a free land. Sorry to disappoint you. The lands of the East don't belong to anyone and we can stand anywhere we want. She was surprised at her boldness. She was usually nothing but polite. There was just something about the stallion that made her less shy and more annoyed then anything. He quickly went on to ask her if she had a home. She scoffed. This is my home. Harmony Valley. It hasn't always been my home, but my brother and I came here for safety after running from our mother. It was for more of his safety and her sanity. She would never have been able to force stallions to do her wishes. She would have probably just let them do whatever they wanted. That would have landed her in deep trouble with her mother.

INUYASHA -- east stalliontags ;; Nat / Bell etc ;; Eyes danced around upon the land. Wishing that this mare was getting into some kind of protection since the South seem to think they could come get bolder and bolder with things. Though of course Inuyasha truly did not care what might happen to her. He had his own things to worrry about at this point. Then as he started to get more into his thoughts. His head looked over towards the mare as she spoke towards him.
'Luckily this is the East, a free land. Sorry to disappoint you. The lands of the East don't belong to anyone and we can stand anywhere we want.' We the exact words that the mare had said towards him. Yes he got where she was coming from, but for once in his life he was trying to be helpful in some way. Then more words had decided to float into his mind as he gazed around and then took his skull and turned it back over towards her. 'This is my home. Harmony Valley. It hasn't always been my home, but my brother and I came here for safety after running from our mother.'
He nodded his head as he turned and looked back out into the opening of the place. "Yes, these lands of the east are where I live also. I just know that the south seem to be getting bolder with things. Already taking two mares from the western herds. Hopefully they will not dare come in this direction." He said as he gazed over towards her. Looking over her beautiful pelt before he shook his head lightly and looekd back around. Wondering just what the mare might say towards him.

The stallion seemed unmoved by her annoyance. She was thankful, but yet even more annoyed. She was glad he didn't just run from her, but wish he would stop trying to force safety on her. Her brother did that enough. Sure she is meek and afraid and not a fighter, but she was in safe lands. The Southerns hadn't tried to hit this land. There was that once when a southern accused them of stealing a mare, but he left never to return. He probably found his mare or forgot about us. She didn't believe any harm could come to here as long as she stayed home. I don't think they will try anything here though. They never have. There aren't even that many mares here. I think we are safe. She had a strong urge to stick her tongue out at him, but kept it inside her mouth. If he was so worried about her then maybe he should stick around to protect her. She doesn't want to be in the land of the free and be unable to go anywhere because of the possibility of getting stolen. She wants to roam and enjoy freedom.

INUYASHA -- east stalliontags ;; Nat / Bell etc ;; A sigh came from his mug as he seemed to grow less interested with this mare. Snorting lightly as he shook his head and looked away from themare. Only trying to make sure that all are safe and sound no matter, but of course he just let his eyes look back over towards the mare for only a moment.
"Fine then."
He said with a loud snort from his nares. Shaking his head again as he turned and made his way away from the mare. Walking over towards a small watering place. Dropping his head to the ground and began to let his lips touch thewater as he closed his eyes slightly. Wanting to rest but of course he couldn't he was to busy and was only trying to be nice for once. 'See if I help anyone anymore." Saying to himself as he just shook his head and allowed his head to lift up from the ground and eyes darted all around.

Bell I speak; I think Notes: None
He seemed to take her comments personally. They were a little personal, but he should understand. This was the one place where they didn't have to worry about being beaten every five minutes or being made to beat someone. He sighed and walked away. Guilt began to creep up on her. She tried to suppress it, but it didn't work. She sighed and followed him. Look, I'm sorry. I know you are just trying to keep me safe. You have to understand though. Before my brother and I came to this land we were in the South. Our mother beat him and made me beat others. I hated it. I wasn't allowed to go anywhere. I had to stay in a small area that was meant for the mares-in-training. We were told it was to protect us from the stallions who would kill us so they didn't have a chance to train anyone. When we got here I was so afraid and I stayed close to where my brother and I slept. We have been here for a few years now. I don't feel afraid anymore so I'm enjoying my freedom. I don't want to stay cooped up my entire life. She hoped he understood where she was coming from.
