If one of her children were a danger she would run instead of fight. the history Overall History • Bia was born in the east. When she was a few days from turning one she was stolen for a Southern master. She was kept in an area with all the one year olds they had just stolen. She was taught the ways of the south from an older slave. No matter how hard she tried she couldn't remember her family from the east, only her name. She began to forget about her life in the east as being a slave was all she was allowed to talk about, think about, experience. After a year of training, Bia was released to work on Master's lands. She never knew his name or had contact with him. She was always watched over by his sons. His sons were harsh, but wasn't allowed to punish physically. They could withhold food and water but Master always took care of the punishments. She had the unfortunate consequence of meeting him once. She had fallen asleep on the job. The mares in the herd had been working all night and well into the morning after a storm torn through the land. They were mourning the loss of three mares while Master was mourning the loss of his youngest son. The son who was watching the mares working noticed her sleeping and sent her straight to Master. When she arrived at the place where he took residence she was ushered inside, expecting a harsh beating. She couldn't imagine he would be in a forgiving mood after losing one of his precious sons. B did exactly as she was told during her year of training. She kept her eyes trained to the ground and made sure she did not stand taller then Master. He had his back turned when he talked to her. She could tell because his voice sounded far off. "You are the first mare to be punished today. You will carry my next son. Finish your work then tonight meet me here." She was ushered out. Carrying a foal didn't seem like a big punishment and it wasn't. The punishment came after the foal arrived. If you had a filly you were beaten then cast out of the herd. Mares usually died that way. If you had a colt you were made a breeder. Master and all of his sons would use you to have foals. You were only allowed to have one filly every 5 colts. If you had more then one you were automatically released, without the beating since the pain of not releasing milk would be unbearable. B went to Master's area that night. She hadn't slept in almost two days. The act only lasted a short while and she was able to rest. She carried the foal full term and it was a colt. She then began the awful life of a breeder. Her next foal was a filly. The filly was taken away after she could live on grass only. It was the next foal that sealed her fate. It was also a filly. Master took the filly away to another breeder and cast Bia out. Bia spent the next two seasons in pain and loneliness. She roamed the lands, taking comfort when she could. Finally her milk dried up and she decided to head to the place where all homeless creatures went. She didn't what awaited her and she didn't know what to hope for. the role player Alias • Nat Age • 23 Gender • Female Other Characters • None |
